Unusual Transactions
In FreeAgent these can be tricky to categorise as it requires you to have accounting knowledge to select the best option and categorisation.
Mobile Version
The mobile version has less options than the desktop version. However, it still allows for all the key elements to be performed.
Uploading Receipts
When explaining bank transactions, it is necessary to click the ‘More Options’ to add a receipt number. With Making Tax digital being phased in by HMRC in 2026, this option should be easier and more user friendly.
Text e-mail Alerts
It would be great to receive an email or a text alerts. When, for example: payments are received from unpaid sales invoices, or, there has been no activity within a set time. All of which can be changed according to the user’s preference.
